Qualifications and Areas of Expertise

Authorization to practice as a Cultural Heritage Restorer pursuant to Art. 182 of Legislative Decree 42/2004 for the following sectors:

  • Decorative architectural surfaces.
  • Painted artifacts on wooden and textile supports.
  • Wood-carved artifacts, furnishings, and wooden structures.

The qualifications obtained through the academic degrees and the professional experience gained over the years have been integrated and updated through participation in refresher and advanced courses on specific topics, allowing for continuous evolution and specialization in various fields of work.

Update Courses and Workshops:

  • Year 2023: Certificate of Attendance, issued by Prof. Paolo Cremonesi, upon completion of the professional update course “Materials and Methods for the Cleaning and Removal of Film-Forming Substances” – Update 2023, Lucca.
  • Year 2018: Technical meeting with Leonardo Borgioli, “Fixatives for Mural Paintings” – CTS, Florence.
  • Year 2016: Technical Meeting, “The Consolidation of Movable Paintings: An Applied Approach” – AN.T.A.RES, Bologna.
  • Year 2008: Certificate of Attendance, issued by Confartigianato of Lucca, upon completion of the conference on “Conservation of Large-Scale Canvas Paintings”, held by Matteo Rossi Doria, private restorer in Rome, and Oriana Sartiani, O.P.D. restorer, Florence.
  • Year 2007: Certificate of Attendance, issued by the Culturale Heritage Institute for the Provinces of Siena and Grosseto, upon completion of the update course on “Issues in Non-Invasive Cleaning of Pictorial Surfaces”, held by Prof. Paolo Cremonesi at Villa Brandi, Vignano (SI).
