The restoration laboratory is located in the historic center of Siena at Vicolo degli Orbachi.
The choice of this location was made to emphasize a strong connection with the city and to provide a strategic point of reference close to institutions, foundations, and museums that are headquartered in the city.
The laboratory houses artworks that require conservation treatments and is equipped with modern technologies that support the process: an optical microscope, a warming table, professional lamps with LED technology emitting natural light and ultraviolet rays, as well as specialized equipment and materials for preparing the formulas used in the cleaning phase of polychrome surfaces (buffer solutions, water-based gels, solvent gels, emulsions).
The premises are protected with state-of-the-art security systems and are linked with the Carabinieri station in Piazza San Francesco, located in close proximity to the laboratory.
Additionally, the studio is where intervention projects, estimates and technical conservation reports get prepared for private clients and for insurance companies.
The external services consist of the periodic maintenance of art collections in museums and institutions and are provided upon request throughout all the national territory.
During exhibitions, both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance services are offered, accompanied by the drafting of technical reports on the condition of the artworks.
Restoration sites for immovable assets located in historic and monumental buildings are set up with appropriate and professional equipment, including compliant mobile scaffolding.
The expertise acquired over years of activity enables the studio to assume the role of Operational Restoration Director in public and ecclesiastical tenders.
