Villa Reale di Marlia, Storia, passione, rinascita Book Launch

On Saturday, April 5, the presentation of the book Villa Reale di Marlia, Storia, passione, rinascita took place on Lucca’s historic city walls as part of the “Verdemura” event.

The book chronicles the ambitious restoration project that, over the past ten years, has been funded and passionately driven by the current owners—the Gromberg family—represented on this occasion by Henric Gromberg.

Inside, you’ll find a series of essays and detailed project sheets covering the restoration of the villa’s architectural elements, furnishings, and decorative schemes.

In particular, the volume includes an excerpt from the descriptive essay on the restoration of the mural paintings preserved in one of the ground-floor rooms of the villa.
