The Madonna with Child and Saints by Andrea Di Bartolo Returns to the Pinacoteca of Siena

14 March 2025, National Art Gallery of Siena.

Presentation of the restoration intervention carried out on the triptych by Andrea di Bartolo depicting “Madonna on a Throne with Saints John the Evangelist (?) and James the Greater.”

Following a complex and extended restoration intervention, which lasted over a year and a half, the work regains its most natural and accurate expression of chromatic and material values.

In the video, an interview with restorer Monica Mancini is featured.
